Due to the recent sharp drop in weather temperature, the environmental temperature in many places in China has reached 0℃ and below. If the water in the pipeline system used for water supply and drainage, automatic sprinkler, HVAC machinery and other water transportation freezes, its volume will expand by about 1.1 times, which may lead to the rupture and leakage of pipelines and fittings in the pipeline system.

1. During engineering construction, be sure to ensure that the remaining water in the pipeline is completely drained, and it is forbidden water flowing into the empty pipeline. The constructors and end users should attach great importance to and drain the stagnant water in the pipeline in time.
2. For the pipeline system that has been installed and used, it is necessary to take heat preservation measures for the pipeline to ensure that the ambient temperature of the use place is maintained above 4℃.
3. If the pipe breaks due to the freezing of water in the pipeline, it is no relationship with pipeline quality.
4. Users are requested to deeply understand the importance of strong cooling and heat preservation measures and standardized construction in winter to avoid unnecessary losses.
