Hi nexus fiunt per suduram extremitatum duorum tuborum inter se, et variis formis et magnitudinibus veniunt, ut cubitis, T-formibus, reductoribus, et operculis. Nexus ad summum conglutinati vulgo adhibentur in applicationibus altae pressionis et altae temperaturae, ubi conexio continua requiritur. Etiam praeferuntur propter firmitatem, durabilitatem, et resistentiam corrosionis.
